Most vitamins, minerals & tannins do not survive combustion, but the following effects are still viable:
Provides a soft grounding sensation due to volatile tannins that may survive.
Structurally acts as a balanced & neutral base herb.
May stimualte uterine contractions, therefore it is not reccomended during pregnancy, especially the first trimester.
May have estrogen-like effects and therefore individuals with hormone-sensitive conditions such as breast cancer, uterine fibroids or endometriosis should use with caution or abstain from use.
